One example

1.5 ton, 8 hours, 30 days, ₹8 a unit. If we take about 1200 W average draw, units land near 288 and money near ₹2,304. Inverter AC may be less.

Common mistakes

Assuming 1.5 ton always means 1500 W. Older ACs drink more.
Forgetting second AC in the other room.
Using winter hours in a summer plan.
